Set-up seven years ago The Workshop is based in Newhaven, East Sussex and is run by Marc Fish and partner Vanessa Eley. Vanessa, a photograper and web designer by trade, is The Workshop's media contact.
The ethos of The Workshop is for good design and very high quality craftsmanship. Whilst all the bench space users are individual businesses it provides a positive creative atmosphere for each craftsman to work and bounce ideas. There is a healthy level of competition between everyone and help on hand when needed.It also houses up-to 7 other furniture makers who are all part of the very sucessful bench space scheme now in its second year.
Marc Fish's award winning furniture is available to purchase or commission a bespoke piece.

Marc Fish is now holding courses in fine furniture making and cabinet making. One-2-one furniture making tuition, 1 week, 12 week or 40 week courses are available.
