Fish Contemporary Furniture Marc Fish - Fish Contemporary Furniture
japanese doll cabinet

japanese doll display cabinet

Brief - to design a cabinet to house a Japanese doll. This piece of furniture compliments other cabinets Marc made previously for this client. It has hints of Japanese architecture but still has a modern contemporary feel that Marc has become known for. The highest level of furniture making is obvious and cabinet making techniques dating back centuries have been employed in the construction of this piece of furniture.

This cabinet has been made from solid and veneered Macassar ebony, the interior has been lined with bleached ripple sycamore veneer. The curved glass is custom made set with a consistent radius. The legs unscrew from the cabinets base for easy transport. The cabinet also benefits from programmable remote control LED lights. All the lighting and transformers are house in the solid waist band panel.
